My Child in a Nutshell

This is Sam in a nutshell.....

As I have mentioned before, he is 150% boy. He loves to be outside in the dirt (and any puddle or water he can find including the dog bowl) more than anything. That being said, he LOVES stuffed animals. He holds them and does the sweetest little coo at them and hugs them tight and rubs them with his cheek. So sweet. I found these pictures of him and had to share.
Matt put a basket on the back of his 4-Wheeler. Sam naturally filled it with little friends as we call them. Soon he realizes that Clifford is on. He wheels to see it but just so that he can get a closer look (aparently the tv isn't big enough for his taste), he stands on top of the handle bars so that he can press his face against the glass. Priceless.

Crazy Hair, Crazy Hair...

This is a little ditty that I often sing to my Sambo....

Eh Em...

Crazy Hair. Crazy Hair. Sammy Clay has got Crazy Hair.

It does what it wants, but he doesn't care.

Crazy Hair. Crazy Hair.

You Might Be a Redneck if...

After highlighting your hair, your hairdresser helps you unload your mammoth sized ice chest full of deer meat from the back of your truck so that she can make you some jerky.

Coco...I may have topped you on this one.

Happy Happy Birthday Baby!

Sam turned 2 on the 21st. We had a little party with his playgroup & cousins at the Choo Choo Station in Grapevine. He had a blast. Later, the "Texas Grandparents" came over to open his presents. Sam spent the whole day clapping and saying, "YAY!" I think he kinda got the whole thing. It was a fun day!

Happy Birthday little boy! You're still my baby even though you're 2!!!

I Love My Din Din!

Sam is Grandchild #8 on my side of the family. All others before him have called my parents NeNe & Grandad. Well, Sam broke the mold and is forever calling my dad, Din Din. He LOVES Din Din. When he is around, nobody else matters (including me...he actually gives me the hand, pushes me out of the room and says, "Mama No"). Here are a few pics of our last trip to the Ranch with his beloved Din Din...
