New Addition to the list.

If you haven't heard, I have a list of words that I despise. My friends love to try and put them into a full sentence just to see me cringe. I have decided to add another word to my list. It now stands as follows...

1. loaf
2. tasty
3. moist
4. scrotum (this actually includes all slang terms used to describe this area of anatomy)
And officially adding #5, puss

This leads me to a picture I took while on vacation. Really? Does anyone else find this title odd and slightly inappropriate? This wasn't a single location, it was apparently a chain. I saw two of them.

A Hat?!

While buzzing through the kitchen, I hear the sweet little voice of my beloved SamBo saying, "A Hat" followed by proud laughter. I turn to see this.....This story happened a month or so ago. This past Friday, we had a repeat scenario. This time it wasn't pizza but a plate of chicken nuggets and "dip" aka Ranch which Sam loves dearly. This scene resulted in a rather large amount of white, greasy goodness running through his baby fine locks. Nice.

A Moment with Otis

For those who haven't met my camera (or know that I always assign a name and personality to inanimate items that I love) I would like to formally introduce you. His name is Otis. Like many of you, photography has become a hobby of mine. I love playing around with it and am trying to learn more and more of my camera's features rather than solely keeping it on automatic. I am also starting to play around with different programs to enhance/alter the pics once finished. If you have any suggestions on good programs or camera tips, let me know! You may also notice that most of my pictures are of objects rather than people. I like to take pictures of things that are still :) I use my good friend Melissa Darst (http://www.melissadarstphoto.com/) for the portrait/people pics.
I began blogging because I thought it would be a good creative outlet for me and a way to scrapbook or journal daily happenings with my family. That being said, I am going to begin posting random pics from time to time. I have a lot of them scattered all throughout my computer and I want to begin collecting them in one spot. Anyway, this is my "happytime", please excuse. :)
