Gall Bladder update

Thank you all for your prayers :) My gall bladder surgery went really well and I am quickly recovering. I am just sore and slow. The doctor said that it looked as if it had been really damaged then healed then damaged then healed and so on. That was nice to hear because it validated my removing it. The worst part is that I can't lift my beloved Sammy for 2-3 weeks. That is just awful. I hate hate hate that. You don't realize how much those little times bring you close to them. It's like I miss him and he's right next to me. I think it's because I kinda feel like an observer over the things I'm normally the boss of. No matter how patient and wonderful my hubby is, or how much help I get from the Grandmothers, I want to do it all myself. Make sense? It also doesn't help when he cries,"Mommy hold!" I can hold him while sitting but it's still not the same. Anyway, I'll survive and Sam is starting to understand that "Mommy has ouchies on her tummy". 2-3 weeks is just a blip on the radar but I still say ugh.

You poor thing, I'm glad to hear you are doing OK! Hopefully time will pass by very quickly so you can hold that precious baby boy!

Glad to hear everything is going well. But I can't even imagine not holding my child. :( Maybe you can bend the rules a little as the days start passing?

I know that has to be so hard not holding your baby boy! :( Just remember that story Jon and I told you about Steph. Don't lift him! Hang in there!
