For those of you that don't know, we had a record breaking snowfall here. A whopping 12.6"! We have had a blast playing in it over the past 2 days. Here are some pics....
We started off playing in the backyard yesterday morning with what we thought to be a lot of snow. (about 4-5" at that point) Little did we know we were in for a full blown Texas blizzard :)

Then when Daddy got home from work, we loaded the fam into the truck and headed out to go sledding. On our way we saw this guy on the side of the road carrying his skis up a hill. Say what?! Does he realize we are in Texas and don't usually get anything more than ice pellets? Further down the road we saw someone with a snowboard and some serious sleds. 
We went to a nearby golf course and were the only ones there. So fun! We let the dogs go wild, built a snowman, and did some mini slopes with our makeshift sled. 
This morning we woke up to find that we had received a lot more snow.
So we built another snowman but this one had a handlebar mustache and some Texas flair.
Although I am beyond ready for spring & warm weather, the snow was a blast.

Yes, love seeing Sam (and you too of course)! I've missed seeing his sweet face. Lots of fun this crazy weather has brought us!

OK, Amber, I clicked on your blog to see that big boy at the top of your page and had to make sure I got the address correct. When did Sam get so big?! Maybe it's the hat......not sure.....but all of the sudden, he looks like a big boy. Precious. And, perfect timing for another! :)

Looks like y'all had sooo much fun in the snow! I can't believe all that snow. I'm sad we missed every bit of it by being in Vegas! :(
